Keto/Low Carb Mushroom Swiss Sliders on Cheesebuns

Omg these were incredible, and I want to put this aioli on everything! Did you notice I added sesame seeds to the #cheesebuns for that "authentic burger bun" look? 😂👌 Just sprinkle them on the cheese piles and they bake right in. . Burgers topped with Swiss cheese, aioli, and sliced white mushrooms. After sautéeing the mushrooms in butter and onions, I simmered them in the aioli to really infuse the flavors. 🤤 For the aioli combine mayo, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Meatball Marinara Sliders

Meatballs – even on their own – are one of my favorite meals. Then my boyfriend had the idea to use the cheesy bread as the buns for meatball sandwiches. So we looked for the lowest carb marinara (you can also make your own), threw some huge meatballs on top and added some shredded mozzarella. SO good!

Macros and pricing:
Based on the products we used, the cost of these ingredients will be roughly $4.69 and make 6 sliders.
Per slider:
Fat – 22.5g
Total carbs – 3.8g
Net carbs – 3.3g
Protein – 29.5g

2½ cups shredded mozarella
½ cup shredded parmasan
3 eggs
½ lb ground beef
50g Italian sausage
1 tsp minced garlic
Seasoning to taste
½ cup marinara sauce

Preheat oven to 350°F.
For the cheese buns, mix together 2 cups shredded mozzarella, ½ cup of shredded parmasan and 2 eggs. Place 12 small mounds on a silicon mat lined cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes.
For the meatballs, combine 1 egg, ground beef, Italian sausage, minced garlic and any seasoning in food processor until it’s the consistency of a paste.
Roll into 6 large meatballs (they shrink as they cook) and fry in a sauce pan with some oil until fully cooked.
Drain the fat and oil, add marinara and top with half cup shredded mozzarella.
Spoon meatball onto a cheese bun and top with another bun.
