Keto/Low Carb Everything Bagel Cheesebuns

#cheesebuns have become a low carb substitution for several carb-filled foods, such as hot dog/burger/sandwich buns, pizza dough, hot pockets, lasagna noodles, and now…bagels. #versatile 3-ingredient, 30-second prep, low carb bagels. 🙌 . Topped with cream cheese and the wonderful "Everything But the Bagel" seasoning from @traderjoes. 😍 I baked them in my donut pan which not only keeps their shape, it results in a different texture due to perfectly even cooking. The best part? CRUNCHY OUTSIDES. 🤤 . 👉 Swipe 👉 to see my (screenshot-able) "Cheesebuns" recipe and macros card. Recipe makes 4 bagels, same as the cheesebuns. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #keto #lowcarb #food #recipes #ketoaf #foodporn #homemade #yum #instafood #picoftheday #mealoftheday #foodgasm #omad #onemealaday #if #intermittentfasting #fasting #foodie #extendedfasting #delicious #getinmybelly #bodybybacon #everythingbagel #traderjoes #bagels #ketobagels #cheeseisthenewbread #creamcheese

Low Carb/Keto Fry Bread

In case you missed it, we've used these bad boys to make Beef & Nacho Cheese and Supreme Chicken Chalupas (see previous posts). But they're not limited to delicious ketofied Mexican food. You can do whatever you would normally do with fried bread and go sweet with sugar free jelly or powdered erythritol, or savory with meat and cheese – and everything in between. Whatever you want to pair with or put on these crispy, crunchy pieces of heaven will be amazing. 👅 . (👉Swipe👉 to see recipe & macro card) . EDIT: Yep, all that work making the recipe look pretty and I leave off the temperature. 🤦‍♀️ 350°F. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #keto #lowcarb #food #recipes #ketoaf #foodporn #homemade #yum #instafood #picoftheday #mealoftheday #foodgasm #omad #onemealaday #if #intermittentfasting #fasting #foodie #extendedfasting #delicious #getinmybelly #bodybybacon #friedfoods #deepfried #fried #frybread #ketobread #bread

Jalapeno Poppers

This is actually my boyfriend’s favorite meal. They’re SO good because everything gets cooked in the bacon grease while baking. It’s heavenly. I especially love the cream cheese mixture with the seeds, salsa and shredded cheese. Spicy, cheesy yumminess!

Macros and pricing:
Based on the products we used, the cost of these ingredients will be roughly $3.14 and make 12 jalapeno poppers.
Per popper:
Fat = 8.4
TOTAL carbs = 2.6
NET carbs = 1.9
Protein = 3.9

6 jalapenos
12 strips of bacon
8oz cream cheese
1 tbsp low carb salsa
¼ cup shredded cheese
All jalapeno seeds (leave out if you don’t like spice)

Slice jalapenos in half length-wise.
De-stem and set stems/seeds aside.
Combine cream cheese, salsa and shredded cheese in microwavable bowl. Microwave 1-2 minutes.
Using a sharp knife, scrape seeds off stem and add to bowl with cheese mixture. Stir to combine.
Spoon cheese mixture into ziploc bag and cut off corner.
Pipe into jalapeno halves.
Wrap each jalapeno half with one slice of bacon.
Place on baking tray and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until bacon is to your liking.
Optional: set oven to “broil” the last 3-4 minutes to give it an extra smokey flavor.

Triple Berry Cream Cheese Danish

Next time we might chop the berries up so they’re mixed into the filling – but these were so good! Who doesn’t love danishes, though, right? You can cut back on the carbs by using less cream cheese since there is a bit much, but we only eat once to twice a day so these work for us because they’re super filling. We used this recipe.

Macros and pricing:
Based on the products we used, the cost of these ingredients will be roughly $7.05 and make 4 danishes.
Per danish (which includes 10g of berries):
Fat – 37.1g
Total carbs – 47.4g
Net carbs – 8.5g
Protein – 20.6g
