Meatball Marinara Burgers on Cheese Buns

a.k.a. “One Big-Ass Meatball”. 😂 I love love LOVE Italian meatballs. Just find (or make) a marinara low in carbs and you, too, can have this in your life!

½ lb ground beef
¼ lb Italian sausage
2 eggs
2 tbsp grated parmesan
Seasonings, chopped onions to taste
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
¼ cup shredded parmesan
½ cup marina

In a food processor, add the ground beef, Italian sausage, 1 egg, grated parmesan, onions and seasonings. Process for a few seconds until throughly combined.
Remove mixture and shape into 2 patties. Fry/grill burgers. Top with ½ cup of shredded mozzarella and marinara.
For the cheese buns, preheat oven to 350°F. In a small mixing bowl, combine 1 egg with 1 cup shredded mozzarella and ½ cup shredded parmesan. Season to taste. Place 4 mounds on a parchment paper or silicon mat lined cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes.
